Pepper Lunch

 Japanese DIY Casual Dining Concept

Pepper Lunch is a popular DIY casual dining concept that originated from Japan. It was created in
1994 by Kunio Ichinose-san, a Japanese chef who wanted to make people happy by giving them a memorable dining experience.

Pepper Lunch promises a fun and dynamic culinary experience for everyone. Food is served in its most natural raw state, and diners get to cook their food over a specially designed and patented hot plate, which has been heated up to 260°C in kitchen and remains hot at 80°C for 20 minutes.

Dining at Pepper Lunch

Place your order, collect your sizzling hot plate of fresh meats and vegetables then you can start to enjoy your meal as you like it.

It is that simple.

Although a fast-serving concept is adopted, Pepper Lunch only serves the freshest premium meats and vegetables available. Choice cuts of beef, chicken and salmon are served with rice and vegetables for diners to cook and season using unique and tempting flavours such as teriyaki sauce, onion sauce, honey brown sauce and garlic soy sauce. Every dish is completed with a few dashes of freshly ground black pepper to give you a delicious, flavour-filled meal.

Pepper Lunch caters to everyone and every occasion. Enjoy great food with a sizzle at affordable prices here!

Petiteserie Desserts

Fancy a dessert after lunch? Head on down to Amaya Saujana Condominium at Saujana Subang, Petaling Jaya and look for Petiteserie Desserts which is located just inside the residence.

The name "Petiteserie" is a play on Janice Siew Jan Lin's petite-sized sweet morsels that are made with local ingredients using French baking techniques that she mastered at Le Cordon Bleu. For example, the nutty Gula Melaka Banana was inspired by her favourite Malaysian delicacies; deep fried banana fritters.

But those who prefer French classics can still savour the Salted Caramel Chocolate that has a rich chocolate filling yet is not too sweet or the Strawberry that simply melts in your mouth upon the first taste.

Petiteserie desserts also provides 100% butter croissants and danish pastries freshly baked everyday from 2pm onwards. They also serve lunch from 12pm onwards serving rice and pastas using their very own homemade sauces. Besides that, its confections are supplied to cafes around the Klang Valley including Battery Acid Club and Flingstones Cafe.

Opening Hours: Daily,12noon-7pm

Caffe Bene

This Korean dessert chain has opened seven outlets since arriving in Malaysia in 2014, with the latest at IOI Mall. Its name means "good cafe" in Italian and it was founded in 2008 by Kim Sun-kwon who wanted to showcase the popular Korean shaved ice dessert called bingsu to the rest of the world.

What makes it delectable are the ingredients and flavours that include strawberry, coffee, green tea and cookies and cream. Its waffles are also a highlight with novel toppings such as Korean rice cake and nuts. For those coffee lovers out there, I recommend eschewing regular coffee for Misugaru, a delicious multi-grain drink made of barley, black soybean, brown rice, black rice and black sesame.
